Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

To celebrate her majesty's 90th Birthday we held a very special celebration assembly. Children took a look back at some of the big things that have happened during her life. We learnt;
  • Queen Elizabeth II has become the longest reigning monarch in British history. She has now overtaken her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, as the longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom.
  • Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, also known as Her Majesty the Queen, has been on the throne for 63 years.
  • She has many residences, the most well known being Buckingham Palace in London
