Amazing Artists!

Last Friday, our brown bear class re-created Vincent Van Gogh's 'starry night'

Last Friday, our brown bear class re-created Vincent Van Gogh's 'starry night' They worked really hard as a team to invent their own version!

The class really enjoyed choosing the correct colours and identifying the different brush strokes they could use. As part of our lesson, to start with we mixed the primary colours to see which colours we could create. The children were amazed to see the new colours they had made. During the session I was a little bit naughty and decided to hide the green paint. Brown Bears soon discovered that they could mix the blue and yellow together to make a new green!

Please do take a look at our photo album to see what a fantastic piece of work your children created!

We definitely have some future artists at BCA!
