This term our theme is 'Ground, Air, Water'. So far we have looked at things underground which has involved us planting lots of different seeds and then last week we focussed on traffic which is on the ground. This week we are moving from ground to air! Our little parcel had a pot with five tiny caterpillars! Our challenge is to take great care of them and nurture them as they grow bigger and fatter before eventually turning into... butterflies! We will be reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and linking our learning to this. The children have been so excited today with our new arrivals and have even been chatting and singing to their new little friends!
