This morning we led the assembly with Year 1. We spoke about what Chinese New Year is and how it is celebrated. We also performed a dragon dance!

This afternoon we invited our parents in for a creative session. We had lots of fun creating dragons, roosters and snakes! Outside we enjoyed the rooster hunt where we had to search for roosters in the garden and write down the letter shown on each numbered card. Once we had found them all, we tried very hard to blend our treasure word "Chopsticks".

To end the afternoon we performed our dragon dance to parents in the outdoor classroom. What a fun afternoon we had!
