Year 5 have were lucky enought to be asked to get involved with a very special event. Small Nose Theatre Production have been delivering an educational workshop based on The Kindertransport.

 

The children have developed their drama and performance skills through a range of tasks, activities and games. They have learnt about World War 2 and thought about what it would feel like to be a German soldier shouting orders, and also how it might feel to be captured by a soldier and taken away from their family. 

 

All of these skills that we have learnt are going to feed into a performance to be part of a Memorial Day Production at Peterborough Regional College. There will be around 300 people in the audience, including the Mayor of Peterborough! 

 

This performance will take place on Friday 27th of January at 2pm. Parents, you are invited to watch so please look out for letters that will be sent home very soon!
