Despite rain yesterday afternoon, the children were very excited to hear that sports day was going ahead this morning! After changing into their PE kits the children headed out to the field to be joined by the rest of the academy and the many parents/careres and friends that came to watch.

Everyone gave their very best efforts as they took part in a sprint and 'balancing a bean bag on your head' races. They got into the spirit of things by cheering their friends on as they competed to win points for their house family.

A huge well done to everyone in Reception for a fantastic first sports day and for also showing superb behaviour on the field.
