This week we have been reading the story 'Q Pootle 5.' He sent us a letter from space because he needed our help. He was going on a picnic but had forgotten his biscuits so he asked Reception to make him some.

In groups, Reception went into the staff room and weighed out the ingredients for the cookies. Each child had a turn at weighing and mixing the ingredients before Miss Whittington put them into the oven.

We had lots of fun creating the biscuits. We made so many that Reception got to enjoy some at their own moon party. We sent the rest to Q Pootle 5 who wrote us a letter back saying the biscuits were delicious!
