Youth Dreams Project Primary Festival - Handball, Basketball and Dodgeball - February 2023

A team of 10 pupils from Year 6 represented BCA at the YDP Primary Festival at Stanground Academy. The team competed against 11 other local schools in Basketball, Handball and Dodgeball and managed to score enough points to make it through the the semi-final. After a disappointing 3-4 loss, the team finished in third place overall. Giulia was selected by Luke Steele as one of the players of the festival and awarded a YDP t shirt. Mikael and Hamza also received recognition for their performances and were presented with prizes! Well done team! ⚽🏉🥉

Manor Adventure - Norfolk Lakes Residential - November 2022

A group of pupils across Year 4, 5 & 6 visited Manor Adventure in Norfolk for a 3 day trip to experience a range of outdoor and adventurous activities. Despite the rain and cold weather, children got stuck into kayaking, canoeing and climbing. They defeated the obstacle course, low ropes course and blind trail. They competed in the Manor Olympics game competition and even tried their hand at fencing.

Nene Oudoors Experience - September 2022

All pupils in KS2 visited Nene Outdoors, located at Ferry Meadows Country Park, to experience a day of outdoor adventurous activities. Our pupils experienced kayaking, raft-building and bell-boating on the lake. On land, we tried out archery, climbing, fire-skills, bush craft and problem-solving activities. A great day was had by all, with lots of us pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and demonstrating courage and resilience. 🌳🚣‍♀️🧗‍♀️🎯
