A Great Day Out!

Brown Bear class have been busy bees this week planning a great day out! As a class we discussed what a great day out is and where we would like to go.

After that they created a great day out using lots of different construction. This included; lego, knex, wooden blocks, duplo and mobilo. The class really enjoyed this and created lots of different models of theme parks, shops and farms!

In Literacy we have focused on story writing and have used our theme to help us. Brown Bears have written stories based on a great adventure. Examples so far have included; visiting dinosaurs, riding unicorns, zooming off to Mars and visiting Mrs Redhead's house!

In Maths we have started finding fractions of a quantity to help us solve problems when we plan the cost of our day out. The children can now find half and a quarter of a number to 30!
