Fly high butterflies!

It was only a mere 18 days ago that 5 tiny caterpillars arrived in EYFS. In that time we have been amazed at how quickly they have grown, transformed into a chrysalis and emerged as beautiful painted lady butterflies!! The class gathered outside today as we released them into our outdoor area. Some of the butterflies stayed a while on our hands and were not so keen to leave, but once they'd flapped their wings the children cheered and waved goodbye. Fly high butterflies, we have loved watching you grow!
