A morning with Kamal Hyman!

Today we were fortunate enough to spend the morning with Kamal Hyman, one of the UK's youngest professional, motivational Speakers.

Today we were fortunate enough to spend the morning with Kamal Hyman, one of the UK's youngest professional, motivational Speakers. Kamal delivered an assembly to key stage 2, his energy was brilliant and his ideas about life were inspiring. All of the children were so engaged you could hear a pin drop! After his assembly, Kamal spent some time in Year 5 where we thought some more about how we can all be superheroes and what qualities we would need! After much discussion, we agreed that 3 things we, as a class, believe to be most important were; manners, never giving up and working hard so we can play hard. Here are some of our thoughts on the session;

Maisie - "Kamal helped is come up with a phrase in our class to remind us to all work hard!"

Olivia - " The session taught me how to turn chicken moments into eagle moments!"

Zain - "I found hearing about Kamal's own life an experiences really interesting

Vesel - "The most important thing I learnt was that I need to treat people how I want to be treated."

Tayyeb - "What I found most helpful was being reminded that if I keep trying I will get better!"

Fatumata - "Kamal was very funny and I really enjoyed it!"

Gustas - "Kamal has taught us how to be eagles instead of chickens!!"
